ضمن برنامج مفوضية الأمم المتحدة وبدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي ومملكة هولندا.. مأرب تحتضن تدريباً لتعزيز الحماية والإحالة في مواقع النزوح
اختتمت جمعية السلام للتنمية (PDA) صباح اليوم ورشة تدريبية متخصصة لعدد 15 متدربة ، حول مفاهيم حقوق الإنسان والحماية والإحالة، وذلك ضمن منحة صغيرة في سياق برنامج أوسع تنفّذه المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان (OHCHR) بتمويل مشترك من مملكة هولندا والاتحاد الأوروبي.
وخلال الاختتام، أشار مساعد مدير عام الوحدة التنفيذية لإدارة مخيمات النازحين، الدكتور خالد الشجني ، إلى أن مثل هذه البرامج التدريبية تُسهم في رفع كفاءة العاملين الميدانيين، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على تقديم الخدمات الأساسية وحماية النازحين.
وأكدت ممثلة مكتب حقوق الإنسان بمحافظة مأرب، وضحى ربيع، أن هذه الورشة تمثل خطوة مهمة نحو ترسيخ قيم العدالة والكرامة الإنسانية في أوساط العاملين مع النازحين والمجتمع المحلي، مشيرة إلى أهمية بناء قدرات الحقوقيين في مجالات الحماية والإحالة
من جانبه، أوضح منسق مكتب المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة،مهدي بالغيث، أن المفوضية تسعى من خلال هذه المبادرات إلى دعم الجهود الوطنية في تعزيز منظومة حقوق الإنسان وتحسين ظروف الفئات الأكثر ضعفاً، لاسيما في مواقع النزوح.
بدوره، عبّر مدير جمعية السلام للتنمية، مبخوت عذبان ،عن شكره للمفوضية وشركاء التمويل على دعمهم المستمر، مؤكداً التزام الجمعية بمواصلة تنفيذ أنشطة نوعية تلامس احتياجات النازحين وتعزز قيم حقوق الإنسان في المجتمع
وتأتي هذه الورشة ضمن سلسلة من الفعاليات والبرامج التي تهدف إلى بناء قدرات الفاعلين المحليين في مجال حقوق الإنسان، وترسيخ مبادئ الحماية والمساءلة في بيئة النزوح بمدينة مأرب.

and with the support of the European Union and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Marib hosts a training to strengthen protection and referral mechanisms in displacement sites.
This morning, the Peace and Development Association (PDA) concluded a specialized training workshop for 15 female trainees on the concepts of human rights, protection, and referral, held under a small grant within a broader program implemented by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) with joint funding from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the European Union.
During the closing ceremony, Dr. Khaled Al-Shujni, Assistant Director General of the Executive Unit for IDP Camp Management, emphasized that such training programs contribute to enhancing the efficiency of field workers, which positively impacts the delivery of essential services and the protection of displaced persons.
Wadha Rabee, Representative of the Human Rights Office in Marib Governorate, stated that this workshop represents an important step toward strengthening the values of justice and human dignity among those working with displaced people and within the local community, highlighting the importance of building the capacities of human rights defenders in the areas of protection and referral.
For his part, Mahdi Balghaith, Coordinator of the OHCHR Office, explained that the Commission seeks, through such initiatives, to support national efforts to strengthen the human rights system and improve the conditions of the most vulnerable groups, particularly in displacement sites.
Meanwhile, Mabkhout Athban, Director of the Peace and Development Association, expressed his gratitude to the Commission and its funding partners for their continuous support, affirming the Association’s commitment to continuing the implementation of impactful activities that meet the needs of displaced persons and promote human rights values within the community.
This workshop comes as part of a series of activities and programs aimed at building the capacities of local actors in the field of human rights and consolidating the principles of protection and accountability within the displacement context in Marib city.
